“Like many artists I am obsessed by sex, death and money. I want to show how these things change beauty and in turn how beauty changes them.” KGB 2014
Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio but now living and working in Chicago and London, KGB (Killer Girl Bunny) is both a street artist and burlesque dancer. She produces work that reflects and subverts popular culture and its sexual symbols. As she explains “it's a celebration of sex, not criticism, I like sex too much to be critical”.
KGB’s interests in the advertising and commercialization of sexuality have resulted in a unique twisted look that is both seductive and thought provoking. As a huge fan of Punk music and its art, these subversive and anti-establishment threads are also present in her work.
KGB has exhibited in Chicago, LA, Art Basel Miami and is now bringing her cheeky art to Europe.
